Located on Via Ghibellina, main street where from the Bargello Museum is found, this restaurant offers a Sardinian cuisine.
The new manager, Luisella, has elaborated an alternative cuisine to that of the classic territorial dishes. Fish and meat specialties are prevalent in this restaurant. For starters try the marinated anchovies and continue with a plate of "malloreddus", typical pasta dish in the shape of tiny dumplings or "taglierini" (long thin noodles) with seafood and shellfish.
For those who prefer fish, try the "Villa di Quartu" shrimp dish while for meat or poultry lovers the pork prepared with Sardinian cream or chicken breast with Oristano white wine. For dessert, Sardinian torroncini (nougat) or seada (fried pastry) with honey might entice your taste buds. One can also order, with advance reservations only, a dish of exquisite fish soup or grilled lobster "Santa Tennera". To accompany your choice of dinners, island wines like Vermentino of Gallura or Cannonau are available. The cost of a three course meal is roughly € 30,00.
