Ryuichi Sakamoto’s tour 2011 makes a stop in Florence at Teatro Verdi – a Florentine’s theater.
On 10th November, directly from Japan, performance of the Trio Tour 2011 arrives in Italy and brings with it the Japanese musical culture, with contamination of European musical culture.
Ryuichi Sakamoto’s ethnic music is surely a contamination of several genres such as electronic, ambient, world music, classical, bossa nova, dance and pop music.

Sakamoto is a very important figure in world of Cinema: he has worked as actor and has written music for several major films, like as “Babel” and “The last emperor”.
“The last emperor”, a Bertolucci ‘s film, won an Oscar for Sakamoto’s soundtrack in 1987.
Olympics 1992 in Barcelona was started by Sakamoto’s music.
Probabily, you already know Ryuichi Sakamoto. Now you just have to listen his live music in Florence.
