Starts the annual event: Tuscan Sun Festival, now 10th edition, which debuted in Florence for the occasion. Then moves away from Cotona, the original site,to Florence, 11 to 18 June 2012.
The Tuscan Sun Festival is a "lifestyle festival", an event that celebrates art in all its forms of expression, from music to theater, dance up to the kitchen and oenology.
It will be a series of concerts with international artists of great reputation, but also all types of events that span many different categories.Returns to the Festival this year, after the extraordinary success of the 2009 edition, the amazing Angela Gheorghiu, who, along with virtuoso and award-winning young tenor Saimir Pirgu will star in the Gala Concert Tuesday, June 12 at the Teatro della Pergola in Florence.
During the show you can visit the exhibition dedicated to the American Impressionist paintings in Florence with the beginning of the end 800 and 900, which testify to the link between old and new continent 500 years after the death of Amerigo Vespucci. Until July 15, 2012 at Palazzo Strozzi.
Do not miss the culinary event, in fact here is that 5 internationally renowned Italian chefs offering unconventional recipes and reinventing traditional dishes of which Italy is a teacher for generations. Their unique creations and newest creations will be offers at the restaurant of J. K. Place and at the Four Seasons Hotel in central Florence.
Regarding the Cinema section of the festival from June 3th to 17th in Florence take place the Tribeca Film Festival. At the Odeon Cinema will be screened a number of internationally successful films including a documentary about Woody Allen, Ripley's Game, The World before her and more.
